Of course, Flan was paired up with Belphegor since it was thought out that way then he was ordered to scout out the surroundings that were around the base and fight any soldiers of that Base. He had fought the soldiers that were around the base since that was what he was ordered to do. Who did he had found after Belphegor had knocked out the soldiers Olgett and Belphegor's supposedly dead twin brother Rasiel. The fight went on for sometime since both sides didn't wanted to surrendered.
Flan was said to went to meet a woman but in reality he went to help Mukuro escaped from the prison since he didn't wanted his mentor to be in the prison for that very long. Of course Ghost was even in the prison with Mukuro since Millefiore made sure that Ghost was going to stay in there as long as it possible. Flan didn't wanted to see Mukuro to rot in prison for too long since he had cared about the guy.
Of course Flan was dressed as a Millefiore soldier still since he had came into the prison he didn't took off the uniform just yet. Sometime later he had been hanging out with M.M since he had took a shine on her. He had sneezed on the bag since he had a sneezing fit, M.M wasn't too happy by this. Flan was of course sorry since he had liked M.M since he had also got her out the prison as well they were in the hideout of her gang. Flan was trying to make sure that he took care of her as long as she needed him to.
When Mukuro and Flan reappeared after the illusion that had been taken down, Flan had gripped that Mukuro had the spotlight, in the back of Flan's mind that he hadn't the spotlight for quite a while. A lot of the people believed that Funeral Wraith had killed people but this was happen to be an illusion since the Funeral Wraith had indeed killed nobody at all. Belphegor had asked Flan why the illusions, Flan had replied back to him that illusions are just like the pranks. Flan was said to be a powerful illusionist that can fooled the vindice. Flan had wore the hell ring with the number of the beast that was consuming him little by little bit. Of course Flan had thought the illusions had to look realistic enough so people would believe it since that's what the real illusions were for. Of all things that Bel had believed he had believed that the illusion was still ongoing and asked how long the illusion was still going to last.
Flan told him that the pineapple head was real since it was real since the illusions weren't ongoing at this very moment. Flan had worked very hard to get up to the mist guardian since he worked his butt off from when he was appointed as a Varia officer to the time that he was a mist guardian for the Varia.
